Cocomilli is a unique social, educational, and entrepreneurial system that builds and instills business values, ownership, responsibility, and long-term thinking in the current and coming generations.
CocoMilli Network is a visionary agricultural and social enterprise focused on transforming African communities through a decentralized coconut farming model. With a goal to plant one million coconut trees by 2050, the initiative partners with families across the country—where each household plants and nurtures a coconut tree, led by a young family member responsible for its care and progress reporting. This approach not only promotes environmental sustainability and combats climate change but also instills business values, ownership, responsibility, patience, and long-term thinking in youth. The hybrid coconut species matures in just 3–4 years, producing up to 150 nuts per tree annually, making them ideal for rapid agricultural expansion.
CocoMilli addresses the global demand for coconut and its byproducts, which are projected to hit billions in the coming years, while Africa remains underrepresented in global supply. By equipping families with the tools, training, and support to grow coconut trees, CocoMilli is positioning Africa as a key player in the global coconut market. The decentralized system also enables families to participate in a revenue-sharing model—where 70% of tree earnings go directly to the household, and additional referral bonuses incentivize growth and grassroots participation. This structure empowers families economically and paves the way for them to access funding to launch their own ventures, making agriculture a platform for wealth creation and self-reliance.
Beyond its economic and environmental goals, CocoMilli is a movement for wellness, nutrition, and community resilience. Coconut offers vast health benefits, from improving digestion and boosting immunity to supporting heart and brain health. Through agricultural education, financial literacy, and access to nutritious products, CocoMilli strengthens households from the inside out. Each tree becomes a symbol of sustainability, prosperity, and empowerment. By mobilizing one million families, CocoMilli is not just planting trees—it is cultivating a legacy of green entrepreneurship and transforming rural and urban communities into hubs of health, wealth, and purpose.
Be a Part of the One Million Tree Mission
We’ve reimagined education and capacity development through agriculture—not as a large-scale operation, but as a family-based movement that nurtures people and the planet. Here’s how our simple yet powerful model works:
We begin by onboarding families across the country who have space in their compound to grow a coconut tree. Each family becomes part of the CocoMilli Network and a future business ecosystem.
A healthy coconut seedling is planted right in the family's compound. This tree becomes a symbol of long-term growth, environmental change, and economic empowerment.
One young member of the family (usually a child or teenager) is chosen to be the Tree Keeper—responsible for watering the tree and sending periodic updates. This role ensures a sense of responsibility and ownership in the chosen family member and instills patience, responsibility, and early business values.
Families and their tree keepers use simple reporting tools (like WhatsApp or our website/app) to track growth. Our team checks in and provides support to ensure every tree is healthy and thriving. There will also be regular updates and reports to all network members and stakeholders.
As the tree matures and starts producing coconuts, the harvest is shared—the family gets a portion of 70% of the total annual yield, and the remaining 30% goes into sustaining the network. This is an exception in the case of referral where the affiliate gets 5% from the Network portion. This revenue-sharing model benefits everyone. The 70:30 or 70:5:25.
Families become eligible for business funding and training, using the income from their trees to kick-start their own ventures. From one tree, a family can launch a legacy. Also, Cocomilli growth is projected to become a multimillion-dollar establishment, and at that point, the network will have a venture capital system for its members who have viable business ideas.
Cocomilli Network is a decentralized agricultural movement that empowers families—especially children and youths—to plant and own coconut trees as a pathway to long-term wealth, health, and environmental sustainability. Through our unique revenue-sharing model, each family (Cocomilli House) earns 70% of the income from their trees, with an option to earn referral bonuses, while Cocomilli retains a share to support operations and expansion. We’re not just growing coconuts—we’re raising a generation of eco-conscious entrepreneurs, improving nutrition and community health, and restoring the environment one tree at a time.
CocoMilli Network will focus on planting one million coconut trees across Nigeria through our decentralized model. We empower families and mentor young people in environmental sustainability, entrepreneurship, and wealth creation.
As we lay the foundation for a sustainable and prosperous future through the Cocomilli Network, it’s vital we make informed and strategic choices—beginning with the coconut varieties we cultivate. Africa, particularly Nigeria, offers a favorable climate for coconut farming, and several species have shown great adaptability and promise.
1. Tall Varieties (West African Tall, East African Tall):
These are hardy, traditional varieties commonly found across Africa. They take about 6–10 years to mature and can produce coconuts for over 60 years. While they have strong root systems and resilience against drought, their delayed maturity makes them less ideal for quick turnover.
2. Dwarf Varieties (Malayan Dwarf – Yellow, Green, Red):
These coconuts mature faster—within 3 to 5 years—and are shorter in height, making harvesting easier. However, they generally produce smaller nuts and are slightly more susceptible to diseases without proper care.
3. Hybrid Varieties (e.g., Malayan Dwarf × West African Tall):
These are the champions of modern coconut farming. They combine the best traits of both parents: the early fruiting of dwarfs and the high yield and resilience of talls. Most hybrids mature in just 3–4 years and produce up to 100–150 nuts per tree annually under good management.
Our Choice: The Hybrid Advantage
After careful research, consultation with coconut experts (including NIFOR), and consideration of our vision for rapid, large-scale impact, we are choosing Hybrid Coconut Varieties as the official species for the Cocomilli Network.
Why?
Faster Returns: Maturity within 3–4 years means our families and Cocomilli Houses begin to earn sooner.
High Yields: Up to 150 nuts per tree yearly means stronger income potential for all stakeholders.
Manageable Size: Easier harvesting encourages youth and family participation without the need for special equipment.
Resilience: Greater disease resistance and adaptability to Nigerian soil and climate.
This choice aligns with our commitment to economic empowerment, educational engagement, nutritional benefits, and environmental restoration. The hybrid coconut is not just a tree—it’s a fast-growing solution to poverty, hunger, and climate change. Together, we will plant not just seeds, but sustainable futures.
We partner with families across Nigeria to plant coconut trees in their compounds. A young member of each household is assigned to water and report on the tree’s growth. This encourages responsibility, while also building a future source of income for the family.
Our product or services include the production of coconut in each house that adopts our system, delivering education and building capacity through the process. We are using the opportunity to also boost the African Economy, taking it from the grassroots at the family level to the community level, national and finally, across the continent. We are also keen on environmental sustainability and maximizing opportunities.
Cocomilli pitches to property owners, estate developers, institutions, government, and so on through our various media within the network and ask if they would like to join the cocomilli project or buy into our idea. We then induct them (as a millicoco house) into the cocomilli network
When a house joins the network, we plant at least one coconut tree in the house. The tree is expected to start producing in about four to five years, We are to split the annual returns from the coconut 70/30. 70% for the house, 30% for Cocomilli.
Referral and Affiliate: There is an affiliate and referral system where, if you introduce a house to the network, you will be entitled to continued 5% from the cocomilli 30% for as long as the tree is producing. This makes the sharing formula change to 70:5:25 for the Household:Affiliate:Cocomilli, respectively.
Our Dashboard: Our dashboard will display everyone within the network and also enable stakeholders to see all members of the network, which will be updated in real time as more members join the network. Also, all affiliates will be able to see their downline as well as the reward system.
We will also be updating the revenue or yields per tree per household per annum in a separate dashboard that will be transparent and visible to all stakeholders. We will partner with government and agencies, including private sectors who use coconut and its byproducts for marketing and selling our products when the time comes. We also know that the idea will keep expanding and technology will greatly increase.
Technology: In the future, we are expecting to be able to use drones for monitoring, watering, and harvesting. Drones and AI technology will also be innovatively used in the cocomilli network, and our members, especially the family members taking care of our tree, will be beneficiaries of scholarships and other trainings in Technology
Support & CSR: Cocomilli growth is projected to become a multimillion-dollar establishment, and at that point, the network will have a venture capital system for its members who have viable business ideas. We will also give loans at zero interest rates to qualified members with viable ideas. We will allow for a genuine declaration of bankruptcy, which could result in debt cancellation if confirmed. There will also be grants and scholarships for members who perform well in the network in their coconut productivity, e.g, houses with the highest yields due to proper caring as well as gifted children within the network.
Any Nigerian household with available space for planting a coconut tree can join. We also welcome individuals interested in becoming partners or network marketers by referring other families to join the initiative.
It’s both! CocoMilli is a revolutionary blend of agriculture and network marketing. Families benefit from planting and nurturing trees, while partners can earn income by building a network and referring others into the ecosystem.
Members enjoy multiple benefits, including:
A share in the future coconut harvest
Mentorship for young family members
Access to funding for business growth
Opportunities to earn through network referrals
Participation in a record-breaking, eco-friendly movement
There are two primary ways to earn:
